The Logline

Three women bonded by friendship and heartbreak turn their relationship drama into an investigation, only to discover a far more dangerous threat lurking behind the screens.

SYNOPSIS

HEY FRENNN follows Ari, Yanni, and Stormy: three best friends navigating love, heartbreak, and betrayal while documenting their dating disasters through candid conversations with their online audience.

When girls' nights turn into therapy sessions, the women realize they're all dealing with relationships that aren't quite what they seem. Ari suspects her influencer husband, Malik, is emotionally cheating. Yanni is fed up with her image-obsessed boyfriend, Zeke, whose perfect online persona doesn't match the man behind closed doors. Stormy starts questioning her engagement to Chase after signs he isn't as committed as he claims.

Rather than accept the excuses, the friends investigate, armed with wine, group chats, fake profiles, questionable ideas, and just enough confidence to get themselves into trouble. Sometimes they're right. Sometimes they're completely wrong. Chaos usually follows.

But the mission takes a turn when Ari discovers the woman communicating with Malik isn't who he believes her to be. Digging deeper, the friends uncover an anonymous figure known only as Gregory, someone using AI-generated identities to manipulate relationships while secretly watching their lives unfold.

As friendships are tested and the stakes rise, the women realize they're no longer fighting dishonest partners. They're fighting someone who turned their pain into entertainment.

Creative Activation Ideas

The girls spend the season looking for the truth. Here's how a brand can be part of what they find.

Signature Idea

"The Lookout": Own the Binoculars

The binoculars are already the show's most recognizable image. It's how Ari, Yanni, and Stormy watch the world, and how the world watches them back. A brand becomes the Official Lookout Partner: co-branded binoculars/gear used on-screen during stakeouts, the literal image on thumbnails and merch, and the visual that greets every viewer before an episode starts.

Story-Driven

"Screen Time" Safety Series

The season's real villain is an AI catfish. A cybersecurity, identity-protection, or dating-safety brand presents a companion mini-series where the cast breaks down how to spot what Gregory got away with, turning the show's central twist into genuinely useful brand content.

Recurring

Girls' Night Fund

Every investigation starts with wine, snacks, and questionable ideas. A beverage or food brand sponsors the recurring girls'-night scenes, with co-branded recipes and "get ready with us" content from the cast.

Format

Group Chat Takeover

Much of the comedy plays out in the group chat. A phone, tech, or messaging brand gets woven into the show's signature text-thread graphics, one of the most screenshotted, shareable formats in the series.

Live

Watch Party Premieres

Brand-hosted premiere and finale watch parties, plus takeover rights on the Thanksgiving and Christmas specials: built-in seasonal moments with a live, high-attention audience.

Merch

The Bonnet Capsule

Gold, blue, and green already mean Stormy, Yanni, and Ari to this audience. A co-branded merch capsule built around the three colors turns the cast's signature look into shelf-ready product.
